We understand launching your first service project can be difficult due to lack of funds. Newly chartered clubs in good standing can apply for a grant up to $500 to launch a service project aimed at one of the needs listed in their community survey. This event must also be used as an opportunity to market the club and invite new members.
Clubs that have fallen below charter strength of 15 and need a little jump start can apply for a grant up to $500 to launch a new service project. Clubs must be in good standing. This event must be used as an opportunity to market the club and invite new members. The grant cannot be the only form of revenue. Clubs must contribute monies or items towards the project.
1. New and existing clubs must have conducted a community assessment/survey.
2. Project must be Kiwanis led and a NEW service project.
3. Grant must be aimed at assisting families in your community.
4. Submit an application through the TO Foundation with a recommendation from the District Membership Chair or LT. Governor.
5. Take pictures and submit them to the Foundation for use on our Website.
6. A grant coach will be assigned to work with you.
